Integrated Response to Active Threat Events (I.R.A.T.E.)
This two-day 16-hour course meets Department of Justice, NFPA 3000 and current TCCC/TECC guidelines. It is designed to provide knowledge and skills for interdepartmental response between law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency medical services who respond to active shooter/active threat incidents together. This course will educate responders on how to incorporate response protocols to improve victim and responder survivability, recognize threats, and coordinate response of law enforcement, fire, and medical providers during active threat events.
